HI, MY NAME IS ist der ziemlich einfallslose Titel für eine kontinuierliche Interview-Reihe mit talentierten Fotografen, Musikern, Künstlern und inspirierenden Persönlichkeiten unserer Zeit. Heute stellen wir euch eine äußerst begabte Sängerin vor, die von der New York Times bereits als Nachfolgerin von Lorde betitelt wurde: Alessia Cara aus Brampton. Mit ihrer Anti-Party-Hymne „Here“ hat die 18-Jährige weltweit für Aufsehen gesorgt und eroberte u.a. #1 der Spotify-Charts in den USA und Kanada, #2 in UK und #3 in Deutschland. Im Moment arbeitet die talentierte Kanadierin mit der souligen und emotionsgeladenen Stimme übrigens an ihrer Debüt-EP, die bei Def Jam erscheinen wird. It’s about this party I went to and hated because I felt extremely uncomfortable around everything and everyone there. we made it two years ago before I was even signed and it took off like crazy after we released it recently!

I feel like Berlin is where all the cool, artsy people live. I may be wrong but I’ll be expecting graffiti and art scattered around.
